Like my husband always says "Practice makes perfect!" In this case, I'm guessing it's his "NICE" way of telling me "these are good, but you're no photographer!" Gosh, I love him. XOXO

DIY Elastic Headwrap
I will admit it, I totally made this by accident and I LOVE IT!!!! I always use Goody Ouchless Elastics and I made the mistake of buying Goody Girls Ouchless Elastics, emphasis on “Girls!” I have longer hair and the “Girls” are far too tiny to hold all my hair. So I decided to link them together and make an DIY Elastic Headwrap.
I do know one thing, these work perfectly for the gym!!!
(My beautiful hairstylist, Cassie-->Follow her on Instagram..birdy3183, all the cool kids do) |
You'll need:
- 11 Goody Girls Ouchless Elastics
- A pair of scissors
Put all elastics in order. Cut the "lonely" elastic in half. (I cut on the connected area)

DIY Leather Wrap Flip-Flop
(Courtesy Of Honestly...WTF) |
These bracelets are super fun, creative, and just plain AWESOME! I've made several in all sorts of different colors, giving them to my closest friends kind of as a thank you for "being you." I don't know about you but I'm filled with the most wonderful feeling seeing people I care about light up about something I made for them.
So one day I'm driving in my car, sunroof open, the sun is shining, and I get a vision.
DIY Leather Wrap Flip-Flops.....PURE EXCITEMENT! Can you tell I'm totally ready for spring!
You'll need (measurements are for a ONE flip-flop)
- A pair of inexpensive Flip-flops (I'm using Old Navy Faux-Leather Flip-Flop in Gold)
- 60 inches* of waxed cotton cord
- 12.5 inches* of brass ball chain or crystal chain
- A pair of side cutters (to cut the metal brass chain and the cotton cord)
- Super Glue (I prefer the super glue with the brush)
*Lengths will vary depending on the size of your sandal.

Hope every had a wonderful St. Patrick's Day. My husband and I got to celebrate with our wonderful sister and her fiancé. We started the night with a delish drink mix she gathered from her co-worker.
For the main course she cooked pecan-crusted chicken, potatoes, and grilled asparagus. All wonderfully mouth-watering and cooked to perfection.
