DIY Polka-Dot Sneakers

{Polka-Dots are perfect for Spring}

While browsing Madewell's Spring Catalog the other day, I came across these killer Keds. Since I wanted just about everything in the catalog, my DIYing instincts "kicked" in!

As my husband would say "That's the HOTNESS." {That means he likes them} YES!!!!

You'll need:

•  A Pair of inexpensive sneakers (I used these)
• Permanent White Fabric Pen

{Yes, that's all folks}

It's okay, you can get excited!!!

Before I started, I removed the white shoe string. {heart}

I also stuffed the inside of the sneaker with a  couple plastic grocery bags. This will help the toe of the shoe to keep its form while making the polka-dots.

Start "polka-dotting."
I didn't use a specific pattern. That's what I think is so cool about this DIY, you can use your creativity and make your own pattern.
I also enjoy my sneaker without laces! {All the "cool" kids are doing it}
